This section guides you on how to get activated inorder to start collecting payments.

With Airgate, you can collect and make payments from anywhere, with various payment channels.

Here’s a brief and well detailed explanation to everything you need to get started smoothly:

  1. Create an Airgate account if you haven’t created one already.

  2. To get your API keys, visit the Overview page. The keys will vary based on whether you're in a live or sandbox environment. Kindly verify that both secret and public keys are present and also refrain from disclosing these keys to untrusted parties.

  3. Proceed to the Compliance page and complete your KYC. There are three business types you can select from:

  • Non-registered Business Account

  • NON-Profit entities (NGOs)

  • Registered Business Account

  1. Once you have submitted your compliance KYC, wait for your account to be approved, this approval usually takes less than 24hrs. Peradventure your account is rejected for approval, we make sure to provide adequate feedback why it was not approved and you can make changes by editing the requested fields.

  2. Once approved, you can start collecting payments using our multiple payment channels
